Amalgamation Update

After a thorough consultation process, we have now come to a unanimous agreement on the model and structure for the
amalgamation of the Victorian Golf League and the Victorian Womens Golf League. This model is published on our website
(click here to view).

Golf Victoria and its legal representative, have worked with the Joint Amalgamation Committee to review and marry the two
League's constitutions. This has been sent to all Clubs and also on ore website. (click here to view).

We now beleive we are in a position for both Leagues to vote on amalgamation.

Plans are now in place to embarkon the next step, which is the voting for amalgamation.

Concurrent Special General Meetings, will be held at the Box Hill Golf Club on Wednesday the 29th February at 8.00pm
for both Leagues.

Two motions will be put to these meetings:-

1. Amalgamation of both Leagues Associations.

2. Adoption of new Constitution for the amalgamated body.

If successful, the interin Board and Gold Committees will be announced. They will lead the new League forward until voting
for these positions can take place at the inaugual AGM.

We ask that every Club send their delegates to these meetings to vote on this very important event in the VGL and VWGL history.
